Every UK sub dealer signed up this year to support Hispacold attended advanced product training during the week of 17th November, we were pleased to host some new and (very) old faces! The training course was held at Airconco Ltd's new HQ which has a built in training room for such events, the training was carried out by Mr Leon product support manager for many countries including the UK.

A new exciting venture for Airconco Ltd in 2014 is the announcement that we have become a UK Service & Parts Dealer for Internacional Hispacold S.A.

Airconco has had a long dealer association with other leading brands such as Eberspächer Sütrak, Heavac, Sanz Clima, UWE and Webasto, our repute and commitment to those brands in stock availability and service support has not gone un-noticed by Hispacold who saw us as an ideal partner to further their presence in the UK.

The bulk of Hispacold’s systems are found on Irizar and Unvi bodied vehicles in the UK and although Airconco have been dealing with Hispacold parts for some time now, forging a direct partnership with Hispacold only has benefits to the UK market and those operators across the country who have vehicles with Hispacold systems fitted, many of which have been forced over the years to use truck dealerships to source parts quickly.

Through a stock investment approaching £100k we aim to more efficiently serve the UK market and assist any service enquiries nationwide.

We are now pleased to announce that we will be moving to our new purpose built HQ on the Friday 19th July 2013. Parts orders will be taken until 2pm on Thursday 18th July, but we will then be closed until 8.30am Monday 22nd July. Any urgent service support needed during this time can be organised by speaking to our Service Manager Jaimie, however it will be limited to our service account customers, you will only be able to reach him on his mobile number.

All contact numbers and email addresses will remain the same once the move is complete.

Airconco Ltd's annual fleet upgrade has seen yet more new Eberspacher Sutrak & Heavac network partner branded vans hit the highways. This is part of our annual fleet upgrade program.

The rear has been finished to Airconco's high standard modern racking/workbench spec, provided by TEVO, and as usual has all the parts and equipment to get your vehicle's climate control working as soon as possible.

Airconco are pleased to announce that it will be moving to a brand new HQ this summer a few miles up the road in Heywood. Our re-location back to Heywood brings us back to where we started just on the outskirts of the small market town of Heywood. Although the shell of the new building is complete, the internal fit out of offices, trade counters and parts mezzanines is in progress. In our new facility we will have around 10,500 sq ft combined in offices, parts and service reception, stores and workshop space.

No official move in date is set yet, although the internal building works are currently on schedule.

Airconco Ltd are proud to announce that it has been awarded preferred supplier status to Coach Marque membership scheme after a successful presentation to the Coach Marque committee. Airconco were approached along with Ransome Engineering at the recent UK Coach Rally by Graham Messenger CPT coaching executive to become a preferred suppliers offering nationwide support to Coach Marque members, subject to review by the committee. Coach Marque which is part of the CPT currently has around 50 members who meet very high standards of customer care and vehicle presentation. Airconco and Ransome are here to assist all the members with the HVAC services we offer to enhance the product they offer to their customers.

Eberspächer GmbH & Co KG has positioned itself in the bus and coach market as a full-range provider for heating and cooling systems. The Esslingen-based automotive supplier has acquired the SÜTRAK bus air-conditioning systems business in Europe, the Middle East and Africa and signed an agreement to acquire related distribution operations in Mexico and India from Carrier Corp. (USA), a business unit of United Technologies Corp.

The head office of the new subsidiary, Eberspächer Sütrak GmbH & Co. KG, located in Renningen, Germany, employs 135 people in sales, research and development, production and administration. Other important locations in the acquisition package are a production plant in Madrid and a distribution company in Mexico City, along with numerous sales and service offices throughout Europe, the Middle East, Africa and India.

Airconco have installed GlobalLive Fleet Tracking to its service vehicles. GlobalLive's NOW! Fleet Monitor offers a multi-vehicle tracking and live fleet monitoring solution, increasingly recognised as Europe's leading mobile asset tracking management system. This system enables us to make informed decisions as to job allocation using up to the minute information as to where our engineers are.

March 2008 has seen us take on another world class brand in Heavac, the dutch bus heating and a/c suppliers to Wrightbus in Ireland. With over 5000 buses in the UK with Heavac systems installed we were approached to support thier product, we have rolled out a nationwide support network with two other companies controlling other parts of the country, these are our fellow network partners Ransome Engineering near Ipswich and Cool Solution based in Cardiff. Heavac have a long association to Carrier Sutrak and work in partnership on many systems, by tapping into the UK Carrier Sutrak Network Partnership they have a ready made support network with an engineer within 2 hours of any vehicle.

Airconco Ltd's annual fleet upgrade has enabled us to put the first Carrier Sutrak branded vehicle on the road, this is the first of hopefully many across the country as the other Network Partners over time update their service vehicles.

As the Carrier Sutrak Network Partner for the North, Airconco Ltd are now also known as Carrier Sutrak Northern, our existing Airconco identity and the Carrier Sutrak identity will run in tandem from now on. This will be reflected in all our paperwork and signage's / livery.

Airconco Limited appointed as a UK Network Partner for Carrier Sutrak DE GMBH

You will have now seen in the media that Carrier Sutrak are developing a support network which will be far superior to rivals Thermoking and Hispacold, Airconco Limited is an integral part of this new network, our aim is to provide operators in Northern England and Wales with a first class level of service and parts availability. We are in the process of developing our own network of sub dealers to provide cover for the North East and Notts / Lincolnshire. For those of you who know us, you know we are a family run business which will go the extra mile to ensure our customers receive a first class service, because of this we will only be appointing sub dealers who have the same values in customer service as we do.

Carrier Sutrak UK will be exhibiting at the Euro Bus Expo held at halls 4 and 5 at the NEC Birmingham. You will be able to talk to representatives of Carrier Sutrak and also on the stand for the 3 days is our MD, Eric Stott who will be there to talk to operators about what services they can expect from thier local Carrier Sutrak agent, Eric will also be delighted to provide Northern based operators with any information about Airconco Ltd's services. Airconco Ltd Commissions Carrier Sutrak A/C units at Liverpool Docks 07/07/06

Airconco Ltd has completed commissioning new Carrier Sutrak AC7 units fitted to the new £2.5m order of 5 Noell Straddle Carriers at Liverpool Docks. The new straddle carriers will be handed over to the Mersey Docks and Harbour Company shortly by the Noell Crane Systems engineers after being assembled within the freeport docks area. Below is our MD Eric Stott carrying out work to one of the units.

At the end of November 2005, Airconco Ltd officially became an agent for Webasto Thermosystems. As part of the restructuring we have repositioned our selves as Climate Control specialists, this involves heating systems as well as cooling. Due to many requests from our customers to service and repair webasto heaters we felt we could improve our service to them by becoming official agents. Feel free to contact us for more details. We have completed the repair of Express Motors of Caernarfon's Neoplan Euroliner after it hit a bridge, the repair included the complete removal of the damaged evaporator pod, and installation of a brand new one specially built at Carrier Sutrak HQ in Rennigen, Germany.
